But on the twenty-fifth of August, twenty academics will be giving pub lectures across Auckland on exactly those topics and more.
Hi Kyota, I'm Shalise Tansey and today on the Detail, Auckland Uni's Raising the Bar event.
The series is now in its tenth year.
The idea started in New York and is now global, with academics giving lectures to the public in pubs.
On this episode, I'm getting a small taste of three of the lectures.
