I appreciate you having me on.
Well, let's do a little sort of spin through as to your career.
So you were drafted in 1998 to the Detroit Lions, coming out of Eastern Michigan.
You spent four years there.
Right in saying that you were like a hybrid threat back in those days, kind of before it was fashionable, you were able to run with the ball as well.
You weren't just a pocket passer.
It's always a pretty handy thing to have.
And then you moved over to the Pittsburgh Steelers for 11 years.
Interesting in that you were originally from Homestead, Pennsylvania, which is part of the sort of greater Pittsburgh area.
A lot of fans really seem to connect with you, even though you were a backup quarterback and backup quarterbacks, much like substitute goalkeepers in soccer, don't really get much time in the sun.
But people seem to seem to like you because, hey, you're the local boy on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
You have those Super Bowl rings from those two wins?
See, I'm always interested in how people treat their rings because we've got some people who have their medals and they say it's in a box in the attic somewhere.
Whereas if I had a Super Bowl ring, it'd be the first thing you'd see when you walk through the door.
Before we talk about the Steelers, and obviously you're over here representing the Steelers as part of some things, some really interesting things that they are doing.
