I want to talk a little bit about when you started playing for the Detroit Lions.

I know injury kind of got in the way of you sort of really being able to fully develop into your potential.

But it's interesting when you go back when you started, you were still on the same team as Barry Sanders.

Was there ever a real kind of like starstruck moment when you were handing the ball off to one of the greatest running backs in the game?

It's amazing.

I can almost see you reaching for your camera in that moment and being like, look.

Barry Sanders is there on the way.

I'm supposed to be blocking this guy trying to tackle him.

I feel like nowadays you could have like a little cam in your helmet or something, you know, like one of the like the meta glasses.

So let's talk about your time with the Steelers as saying long time backup.

A lot of people, you know, I did see the line, the greatest backup ever, which I feel like isn't the worst way to come out of your NFL career.

If people are using that kind of phraseology.

But I'm interested in what that relationship is like with the quarterback, because from your point of view,

I feel like a lot of times as a backup, some people are assuming that you're not praying, but hoping for my chance.

And your chance comes in the form of either a bad form or an injury or a suspension.

But I feel like a lot of what you do is just being a sounding board for what the starting quarterback has to do in the game.

Talk us through what that's like and how your relationship with Ben Roethlisberger worked.
