I want you to know up top that in 2020, I did a post for Golf Digest ranking the 15 best US Opens with the help of a USGA historian show.
Not only a topic near and dear to my heart, but I think you chose well.
This was my draft board.
So I know I have to be kind of quick about this.
I could speak for 10 minutes.

First thing I've got to say is I could not be more disappointed in Neil.
As I'm looking at the pics here, you know, Neil, I'm a huge fan of.
He's a man of unbelievable charisma and intelligence.
And I know he appreciates history.
He's a great man for history.
So why, when I look at these pics, do they reflect the worldview of somebody for whom Earth began in like 1999?
Just incredibly disappointing.
There was golf before 99, Neil.
Pinehurst off the top was, it was a reach.
