But I think that's something that we talked about at that time that we'd try to include more in there about routines.
No, we completely ignore it.
Yeah, it absolutely is, and it still is.
So, you know, when we well before we wrote the book it was, and then certainly in the early years of the book, it you know, everything that um you know we talked about at Darrington was about the six principles.
Now in recent years
It's kind of evolved into what we've called these teaching principles in practice.
So they're still framed around the six principles, but it's far more directive about exactly how teachers question, exactly how teachers do their do now tasks.
But interestingly, so we're on the third, we're just preparing the third version of the teaching principles in practice.

Right back to the six principles, and the six principles are now front and centre of each of these twelve teaching principles in practice.
Each of them references one of the six principles.
So it is it is it is still very much a Darrington thing.
And I think, well, yeah, certainly all the time I'm there, it absolutely will be because it it works and it's effective.
There have been some lethal mutations of it in other schools.
So it
an observation matrix and it was used to kind of judge teachers and expected to see the six principles in every lesson and you know, judged on each of them.

obviously was never the intention and it certainly has never been used to
you know, in that way uh our school.
