So coincidentally, the fans started to get on my back.
I still ended up the top girl scorer with 21 goals, but I...
It was so bad that we actually used to get in a minibus, go to a local skill gym to warm up because we was getting stick in the warm up.
And I was one of those who were mainly getting the stick.
I mean, I remember filing a player once and fans would go off, off.
But I knew that I needed to win that battle.
I needed to win that battle against, not against, but win that battle in terms of the mental battle in how the fans saw me.

Yeah, the confidence came.
I had belief.
Belief just sort of went like that.
But I had sort of tools and how to cope with whether I was being cheered or booed.
And so a lot of those skills and tools I used.
But I'm so thankful of the journey because I learned about me that we all know as former players that you can be in a situation where you go like, I'm not fit when the pressure's really on.
But I always was fit.
I always declared myself fit and ready to play.
And there was a couple of times my confidence was that low.
you know i'll be thinking i was like joe don't pick me joe don't pick me and he said yeah and tomorrow's game starting up front is showing i mean that's where my confidence was um but again the psychologist that i used was absolutely brilliant and today you see players use psychologists but they don't go through and advertise it they don't advertise it but uh it was the best thing i've done and uh i've been able to sort of have that relationship with the fans as well
Yeah.
And coincidentally, one of the goals that everyone remembers will be the, I say the pass from Gary Navell.
