I I think one of the challenges our industry faces right now is that we are becoming

becoming or have become too commoditized and too professionalized.

And I'll share an analogy here, which was um I heard this the other day around uh uh you know somebody went to a steak restaurant in Silicon Valley

They tasted the steak and immediately was like, oh, I can tell that this restaurant chain has just been bought by private equity.

You could taste that in the steak because they have like professionalized the restaurant, they have like minimized costs, they've made it like an assembly line of things.

So the craft, the the thing that made that restaurant special went away.

And I think one of the things that was amazing about the SCR space in the earlier days was this uniqueness that you had stepping into somebody's home, the way they made it feel so bespoke to their lives.

And you were having a glimpse into that.

What we've seen through the boom post-COVID is that it's become very uh commoditized.

It's become very factory-like.

You can you step into a short-term rental now, you you know if it's uh a host that has a hundred properties or if it's a host that has one.

By they've got IKEA plates, nothing against IKEA, or the or it's like the custom.

Yeah, you know, these

Sorts of things.

And so I think one of the challenges now is that that experience that was unique, that was special about short-term rentals has been eroded away a bit.

And we need to get it back.

And that's why I think this point on the guest experience is so important to kind of get back to delivering that.

Because ultimately, that advantage that we did have versus hotels has been eroded away.

The price advantage that we had versus hotel.

Has been eroded away.
