And so that was the thing that I just kind of kept on coming back to is the potential of the company.

given where the industry was headed, given the capabilities that we had, the culture uh that Dennis and the team had created was just super special.

Uh and so I was just I was blown away.

You couldn't have put that better.

You know, I'm speaking Portugal, which is uh a mixture of Portuguese and Spanish, Espanol, because I used to live in uh Brazil for a few years and my uh Brazilian Portuguese got really good.

I used to know Spanish fairly well, but now kind of adjusting back is is difficult.

So I'm one foot in the Portuguese, one foot in the Spanish.

Uh Catalan is nowhere to be seen, unfortunately.

Oh yeah, it's a great question.

One assumption I had was so I I have not worked in travel tech.

This is the first role that I've had in in travel tech.

As I shared earlier, I've been a host, but on on on that side of it.

And so one of the assumptions I had was like, hey, there's gonna be uh a steep learning curve for me on understanding the industry, understanding the domain.

Given I've come from you know the CRM space and before that, uh finance and accounting with with Intuit and Pipe Drive, respectively.

Uh and so I was I I felt that that was gonna be a steep learning curve.

But actually, as I've gotten into it, yes, there's things that I've needed to learn that are specific to travel tech, but ultimately ultimately the fundamentals of how I thought about product in those industries extend into this role as CEO in at Logify in Travel Tech.

Like the ultimate fundamentals on customer obsession, like how do you drive the most value to customers as quickly as possible?

These things extend no matter which industry you're in.

Uh, and so what I thought was gonna be a steeper learning curve ultimately was was not as as I thought.
