self-taught if that that makes sense we would always learn and practice and have a kick around with our friends more than anything else we had a few offers when was growing up to go to like schools of excellence but because they were too far we was like now we'd rather just play sunday league you know yeah so because it was more so we kind of self-taught ourselves and it got us here and my son to a degree did the same thing really when he signed for city
He was only like 13, I think, at the time.
And most of the kids had already been there five years.
So he was behind them by a while.
And I always just said to him, there's one thing you can't really teach in football, and that's just raw talent.
So I said, that's not something you want to kind of take out of you because you need to be different to what they already have.
And he worked hard on the stuff he didn't know when he was at City and now he's here.
So he deserves everything he's getting right now.

Not thinking against, obviously, the older managers and coaches.
