All the boys are training and we'll turn over and you can see him kicking a ball around with like the kids.
And this is like, we're in the middle of training here.
But he always seemed to take time out to show people like love, care, always checks on me.
Even when I was at QPR,
We played Chelsea, the first thing he did when he walked out the tunnel, came and gave me like a hug, how are you, had a laugh and a joke.
But in training, the main thing that I noticed, he was quite always premeditated.
It always felt like he was like four days ahead of everybody else, including the media.
That is by the way, so Cammy, sorry about that.
It was always like the Spurs game.
Yeah, on the Thursday, he said to me, right, I'm not going to start you this game, but if we're down at half-time, I'm going to bring you on, we're going to draw, then we're going to go to White Hart Lane and we're going to win the game.
So I just said, like, as you're doing it, like, nobody can really predict that.
So it's like, yeah, OK, cool, no problem, boss.
brought us on, we drew, went to Spurs and we won.
So that's like the story that that for me summed him up.
And he just knew what was going on all the time.
He was so well in advance of things.
We would always train
ahead of the game.
So by the time Friday comes the Saturday for the Saturday game, we've already started preparing for the game either midweek or the following Saturday.
So we was always ahead of the games we were playing.
