Oh yeah, so speech with that sort of thing.
So um those are today I wanna talk about like science and pseudoscience mostly, I would say.
Um some things maybe could be leaning into anti science.
Exactly.
Yeah.
So uh one of the things that I was gonna uh s open with um is like why uh bad science, like why do we wanna sort of uh evaluate these claims and what's the sort of why?
Like why does it matter?
Um, and I think one thing that I was taught very uh early on by a mentor is that if we're trying out these other things, then we might be missing out on the thing that we know works.
Yeah.
That's what I was thinking too.
So like taking time like it whether it's resources, like money or time away from something else.
And so I think we'll keep circling back to that as we're evaluating.
Um
Yeah, exactly.
Mm-hmm.
Um and then the second thing I would say another reason why it matters is because it tends to shape society or cultural views um what we think is true or what we think is scientific.
And if something is not actually proven and as a whole we're thinking, Yep, that's true, then it can impact um how we behave.
And so the example that I have is the refrigerator mother theory.
