I met Sophie in the sixth grade.

She was my first friend in Canada.

Oh, all the way up until even when I moved here, like she came to visit me.

You know, we stayed in touch.

So it's only been the last few years where I think, you know, just life gets so busy.

And I think it's hard to sometimes keep up with long distance, you know.

But yeah, like in the sixth grade, like Sophie's the opposite of me.

Sophie was very like tomboy, like wore basketball shorts to school every day and a baggy T-shirt.

and i mean like pink bows like we're just so opposite and i loved her she just we had the most fun like together which had the most fun with the we'd sleepovers every single weekend like every single weekend we'd have sleepovers together we did everything together we'd we had our same routine we'd walk the giant tiger and get ice cream and snacks and go to tim horns like i knew everything about her like you know did you guys ever get in a fight

Oh, hell no.

Yeah.

We were just indifferent.

She wasn't interested in that for a while.

She was like, oh, then she had her first crush.

We just went through so much.

I think those years from sixth grade up until tenth grade are such pivotal years.

I feel like you grow and you change so much.

And so having that deep relationship with a friend,

is like so wonderful.

And yeah.
