They're not together anymore.

But I'm meeting all of his family, which they were so wonderful and welcoming.

And gosh, I really, really love them.

Yeah.

Such wonderful people.

They made us feel so loved and they were so great.

So it's nice because we came to California, but then we jumped into someone else's family.

So for like Thanksgiving, Christmas and stuff like that, it felt special.

It wasn't kind of like... You know what I'm saying?

So...

Okay.

I don't know I think I don't get I think like when those things happen like I don't get like um like I think I don't get stuck you know what I'm saying like I just move forward and I don't know I don't think I've ever really like paused to think too much about it you know

Because when we lived in Canada, it was just the three of us for holidays and stuff.

And my mom always made it the best she possibly could, you know?

She always made it really special.

And, like, even when we lived in Peterborough, and my mom was, like, we barely just... We just, you know, had moved out of living with my mom's friend.

And we just got back on our feet.

Even though my mom, like, was...

It was hard, like, to make ends meet, you know?

She still, like, made it really special and did whatever she could to, like, make it so much fun, and you know what I mean?
