my dad at the time was living out in America so I was like oh my god I need to do this now I need to make this phone call and I had previously sorry I had previously texted him to say that Ryan was in an accident you know nothing serious I'll keep you updated but that was like a couple of hours before I'd heard from me and then the next one was me calling him to say that Ryan was gone

And he's out there like on his own, me making that call, like, you know.

But I just didn't want it coming from anywhere else because word had started circulating and, you know, people were hearing and I just wanted it to come from me, like nobody else, you know.

Like even still to this day, like, you know.

Like, because it was the Friday and...

The next day I had to come back down to the hospital, to the morgue to ID his body.

So it was the Saturday and because it was the weekend, he didn't come home until, we didn't get him home until the Monday, so the day he came home, the day of my birthday.

We got him home the day of my birthday.

Jesus.

And like, it might, you know, everyone takes comforts in their own ways and does things in times.

I think they might, but when Ryan was brought in and we were in my uncle's house, that's where we waked him at the time, he had a little pink birthday card under his arm.
