They couldn't do anything.

Like, I didn't, I hope and I presume he had got some sort of help with the pain, like on the way down or whatever.

But that's hard.

Yeah, that's hard.

To see that and to know that I can't do anything about it.

Because on a normal day, I would have, if he was in pain, I would have done something for him or try to help him or, you know.

But I couldn't do anything for him that day.

And that's hard.

this kind of thing that will keep you up at night isn't it yeah thinking about that yeah yeah and that's kind of now kind of played into my life that I'm very like I have to make sure mom's okay I have to make sure such and such is okay and I can't do that because I don't want to hurt that person or

Yeah, like even to this day now, if I hear a siren, I'm straight away, ring mum, ring Cara, ring Anya, ring Olive, ring Dean, like ring everyone to make sure they're OK.

six years later because that panic just comes into you but the first couple years I don't like I don't know I don't want to say I just floated through like I I grieved in my own way and in my own time but I very much stepped up because like my poor mom was heartbroken and I just kind of stepped up and you know kept her okay kept her busy done what I had to do

and kind of, you know, looked after her.

And then she, you know, kind of started coming around and back into a routine and, you know, looking better in herself and, you know, kind of getting back and then I started to fall apart.

My grief then started to come maybe three years after properly.

Very physical symptoms for me.

Really?

Yeah, a lot of panic attacks.

Wow.
