Like, he just like, I seen him go through school.

I seen him go through other jobs and...

To see him get up every morning and the big, like I used to say, stupid happy head and I'm like going to work, actually excited to go to work.

He just loved where he worked, loved the lads, loved, he had one boss in particular there, like a manager, I'm not sure what his position was, but it was very good to him, got on very well with him.

Like he just, yeah, he loved his job, loved it.

He was there a while like he was there he was he was he was finished his exams and finished and had just become fully qualified in that we got his results in that June like yeah he had fully qualified yeah as a mechanic.

Yeah, yeah.

So it was Friday the 12th of June 2020.

And my birthday is the 15th of June.

So I was home Friday evening, planning to have friends around the next day for a barbecue and, you know, a bit of celebrations and a few drinks in the gardens at the gardens at the time.

So I'd popped up this little marquee and we had me and my friends were running joke about the weather and stuff.

So I was out the back and sitting out

the child of Prague at the time, as you do when you want good weather.

And I got a message through on my phone from Ryan's best friend at the time, and he had said, ring me quick.

I just, I knew straight away, like, you know, like, you know, Dara wouldn't really contact me like that, you know, unless he'd ring me or something, you know, or normally it'd be Ryan or through Ryan and that.

So I just said something wrong here.

So I rang him and he just said, Red's after having a bit of an accident.

He's all right, like, but mommy said you'd better come up, his mother, because it was up at the house.

I said, OK, grand, just try not to panic.

I was home in the house and mom was at home and I just said it to her.
