But the fact of the matter is, if you walk into a hotel and you beg and you plead and you get on your knees, but I'll clean your toilets and I'll make your beds and I'll cook your meals.
Sir, I can't give you a room because we have no rooms available.
We are full.
Now, I'm not saying we need to permanently halt all immigration, but I think for at least the foreseeable future, we need to make it very difficult for people to come into our country.
We don't have the space.
We just don't.
And supply and demand would teach you when you have a finite supply, right?
There's a cap on how much housing is available in this country until you build more houses.
There's a cap on how much food is available in this country.
There's a cap on the availability of healthcare and resources, hospital beds, emergency rooms, et cetera.
And it's designed to accommodate a certain amount of people, okay?
When you throw 20, 30, 40 million additional people into the equation, you are creating so much more demand.
What happens when you create more demand?
Price goes up, cost goes up, everything goes through the roof.
Why are we seeing a massive increase in the cost of living, the cost of homes, the rents are going through the roof now, why?
Because there's so much competition and golden rule, you wanna make the price of something go up, have government subsidize it, every single time.
