And I was fascinated by this guy.
So I continued to talk to him for about an hour.
I should have been doing other stuff.
I was at work.
I'm not there to talk to a guy about September 11th, but he was there.
There were no other people who needed help.
And so I spoke to this guy for a long time because I was fascinated by his experiences.
And he was a part of the operation to remove those men from the rubble.
Um, the the the very similar to the scenes you see in World Trade Center.
He was down the line, he had the the folks come by him on a stretcher.
He was telling,
Me all of these stories.
And you could tell, I mean, that this was very uh it was a very heavy moment for him.
It was a very heavy memory to talk about.
But you could tell he was kind of happy to talk about it.
And and and I genuinely appreciated the work and everything that he did for the city in the wake of those attacks, right?
So I wanted to keep him company for as long as I could, not because it was, you know, oh, I'm not gonna do my work, but because I was absolutely
