I was connecting with this guy on a human level.
Very nice guy.
And when again, if you weren't in New York, you maybe didn't feel this way about September 11th.
But in New York, there was it's a very sore subject that weighed on a lot of people's hearts.
It was very, it's very difficult.
It's one of those things in New York where, you know, you say September 11th and the entire mood in the room changes because everybody was connected to that event in some way, shape, or something.
Perform.
And so I knew how this guy felt, right?
I'd known other cops and firefighters who were involved in the operations that day.
And so, you know, we finally wrap up the conversation.
And, you know, he was very appreciative that I took the time.
I was extremely appreciative that he shared everything that he shared with me.
So it was either the following day or a a day or two uh after that.
I was up in the break room and I'm getting, I'm on break and I'm being told, hey, you know, someone is really looking for you down uh, you know, down in electronics.
That's where I was that day.
And I said, Okay, that's fine.
I you know, I only had a couple of minutes of break left anyway.
I'll go down there.
Maybe it's a family member, maybe something bad is happening anyway.
I get down there.
