And I think, you know, with more development, with better usage, he has the tools to be a difference maker.

And now to be that number two offensive threat behind Lacombe, I really do think he could do that with some more work away from the puck.

But I think they still need a little bit more depth and a little bit more reliability to go around some of the higher-end players that they have.

Not to take minutes away and block them necessarily, but it just feels like finding that on a budget is going to be tough.

But then again, if they're viewing them as fringe players around Bill Combs and the Minshkovs in the world, it's going to force them to work on the budget they should have had in the first place.

I hope so, honestly, because

The cap's going up.

The talent's harder to find.

GMs can rightfully ask for astronomical returns because it's so hard to get difference makers.

They're not making it to July 1st.

So here's that entry point to doing it.

And even if we don't see a ton of offer sheets per year, I don't expect to see, say, five, six, seven every year.

But if we get a couple and then we get the threat of them, I think we'll still see more player movement like we did this year.

You know, you look at the returns for guys like Mackie Samaskevich, the Kraken could have offer sheeted him, right?
