Hopefully this is what's going to set us up for more exciting off-seasons to come.

But if I have to pick one contract that really stood out, like one for the right reasons, let's go Ivan Demidov, the proactive approach,
Montreal, every core player they've had, except for Cole Caulfield, his was signed, I think, a month early before his contract expired, but Slavkovsky and Suzuki and Hudson, those contracts were all signed a year in advance.
And you look at how team-friendly they look now and as they've aged, I think the Demidoff contract, like Montreal didn't have a very, you know, noisy day, but it was a very good move to get ahead of that a year early for someone that is such a special playmaker.
You know what?
Maybe the Sharks moves, like the Jacob Truba and Darnell Nurse of it all.
I think that Nurse, when you separate him from that cat pit, is still capable of
within the context of the right usage, right?
Like, if you have him as a number four or number five, I think he can be okay in the right surroundings.
And I feel like he actually made a ton of sense for the Sharks before they traded for Trouba.
