Because once they traded for Trouba, it made way less sense to me to have that much locked up for the next four years for two defensemen.
It felt like you only need one of those role guys.
But I feel like Nurse to San Jose, if we're looking at it just in a vacuum in the context of what he actually brings to a lineup,
it makes a lot of sense.

I really like Ryan Shea.
I think that he is a really good fit for them.

He was someone, you know, I kind of like had in pencil as a true free agent.
So I was surprised.
And I think it's a very good contract, especially in the context of this year's market and last year's market where we're seeing these like

The goaltending situation, the Tristan Jari of it all is still a problem for me.
