President Trump has announced a deal to lower prescription costs.

Trump says drug makers Eli Lilly and Noble Nordisk are expanding coverage of their obesity and type 2 diabetes drugs to Medicaid and Medicare patients at a much lower cost.

Trump says the lower cost will also apply to oral versions of the weight loss drugs that are still in development.

The government shutdown threatens to disrupt domestic air travel.

With fewer staff on duty, NPR's Windsor Johnston reports that the FAA is warning of flight delays and limited airspace.

The Congressional Budget Office says it's been hacked and that some government data may have been compromised.

Spokeswoman Caitlin Emma says immediate action was taken to contain the breach and that new monitoring and security controls have been added.
