Remember that.
The Bears left tackle from last year.
Ozzie Trapillo suffered the serious patellar injury.
And they've, you know, kind of band-aided it with Braxton Jones and Jedrick Wills out there.
But right now it's like competition at left tackle for next year because Trapillo could miss the entire year.
And you look at how the Bears have operated since Ben Johnson got there.
And they're like, we are fixing this offensive line.
We will trade for events.
We will do whatever it takes to address offensive line.
So I'm like, that would be a smart move for them.
You know, you can figure it out next year.
If you have too many good offensive tackles, guess what?
You can figure that out.
But you are trying to win right now.
You have Caleb Williams on a rookie deal.
You had a good team last year.
You're trying not to have that regression year like the commanders had last year.
And I actually thought that, you know, if you end up in a draft with the 25th pick and you feel like you can get a starting caliber left tackle
That's a really nice use of resources.
So some of the other options there intrigued me, but I ultimately settled on, hey, I wonder who Deontay's favorite left tackle is here.
