Oh, for sure.
I think that's the biggest thing is just
talking about these things out in the open more so that it normalizes that way of thinking. 'Cause I do think that a lot of people, even when they're in the thick of it and they're buying into a lot of normalized practices that are harmful.
They often have like an internal knowing where they are uncomfortable with what's going on and what they're doing, but it's not really being validated by anyone around them.
And if they were to start questioning it on their own, then they're alone in doing so and then you become
a bit ostracized from your community because you can't really safely question things to people who are actively buying into it.
You need to get validation from the outside first and then that can help them along the path where they feel
able to really commit to a new perspective because other people are showing them like, hey, you're not gonna be on your own if you do this.
There's there are gonna be other people that believe the same things as you and will support you.
And I think that's a really huge part of the shift because for me
Growing up in a breed show circuit, it's a bit of an echo chamber where you don't really get a lot of outside perspectives and a lot of people are believing in and enabling the same types of things.
So when I started to get exposed to new ways of doing things, it was through the internet at first and it felt really challenging and uncomfortable.
And
When I did eventually take a step back from showing and shifted away from the breed show circuit and gained more experience in other areas, it became a lot easier to question things because if I was questioning them when I was just in that little echo chamber, I would be alienating myself from my whole community.
And then that felt very scary.
