Okay, and then this next one is to feel a sense of belonging, which I feel like was what I was kind of talking about with, like, the purpose.
I don't know if this would go at number two for, like, most people I know, but, like, I definitely think this is important.
And, like, what I was talking about and, like, I'm curious what you guys have to say.
I think it's a great number two, knowing, though, that, like, just because you join a sorority, like, you still need to put in, like, what you want to get out of it, especially, like...
if you need to, like, go out of, like, your way to, like, make friends and, like, be social and go to events and go to those things and, like, if you really put yourself out there, then it does definitely, I feel like, give you, like, a really good purpose and, like, a really good reason as to why you're in the house.
But, yeah, like, definitely, like, put yourself out there in order to, like, make that a number two reason.
Totally.
Okay, the next one is to grow as a leader.
So obviously, I feel like this one's important because I got very involved in my sorority.
But do you guys agree with this one?
I think this one's probably different for different personality types.
But I do think overall, generally speaking, by joining a sorority, you do grow those sorts of traits about yourself without even really realizing it.
And I think it's just from the fact of spending so much time with so many people.
You do kind of
improve like your social skills and your communication skills and therefore you improve your ability to be a leader in like your friend groups or whether it be like you join exec so I think it's making me like it's like a more unexpected benefit of joining a sorority unless like your main goal is to be like in one of those exec positions but I do think I would definitely have that in my top five just because I feel like the ability to
to be a leader not only in the sense of like what it actually means to stand up in front of a group and talk but also what it means to like be a role model for people and i feel like that is a sort of role that i've been able to have and that like i'm friends with a lot of underclassmen through being in a sorority and i've been able to improve my ability to be like someone that they look up to and someone that they ask questions to and that's been like probably one of my favorite parts so yeah i would say i would say probably that's like my number two honestly
Okay, I'm going to the next one.
Number four is to give back through philanthropy.
I definitely think that this needs to be much higher up there.
I would say that that was probably, like, within my top three, especially when choosing a house.
