And I was like, wow, just look at the psychological dynamic here.

There were other times when I put a sticker up and then I came back by and somebody had written in ballpoint and Nazi shit on it.

And this was when it was just the black and white Andre sticker before I actually started using the Nazi colors or the communist propaganda colors in a lot of my work.

Also the same colors that McDonald's and Marlboro use.

Yeah, the reactions to the Andre sticker were...

were fascinating and I thought, I just want to have fun with this and keep pushing it out there.

being in art school and expanding my understanding of all these different art forms, printmaking, activist art that's got a point of view and pop art and all these different things, I started to think, oh, I can implement facets of each one of these things.

I can experiment with it.

And so my own

silly street art project, I call it the absurdist propaganda project, becomes a testing ground for all sorts of art and graphic design ideas.

And then the ones that

I stick with and they become a technique that I kind of keep in the quiver for later projects and the ones that don't go over as well, I just abandon.

But I think almost anybody that's creative has to try and fail in the process.

You can't just be isolated.

But most people are pretty forgiving when you make a mistake.

I mean, the internet's not always forgiving.
