So one is just including more chicken, which has been on a kind of multi-year rise in Americans' hearts.
So Americans love.
Love for red meat does seem to really be shifting.
Another is to lean into sectors that have been more successful.
So one is coffee, where McDonald's is trying to win back market share, and another is energy drinks and fancy sodas.
So there's a bit of premiumization that's also going on as they attempt to figure out how we can give consumers something that they value more.
That way we don't have to necessarily lower prices.
And is that gonna work long term?
Only time will tell.
So those kind of longer term menu changes and changes to the kind of value equation will take possibly quarters, if not years, to roll out.
But certainly it doesn't seem like the headwinds of health consciousness and inflation are going away anytime soon.

So America's experiencing a boom in small businesses.
One way you can see that is that full-time self-employment reached its highest level this century in 2025.
So about 16.8 million Americans worked full-time for themselves.
And we've also seen a huge boom in the number of new business applications.
And a lot of those are concentrated in things like retail, healthcare, and professional services.
