Do people outside of Overland Park know who you are?

I wanna touch briefly on a a small handful of of issues here before we go.

We talked a little about property tax before is what what does the state need to do or what should the state's rule be here?

Does the state need to lower its own property tax, raise exemptions for people, do something to offset local property tax burden?

Is there anything you see that the state needs to do?

Does the state leave its own rate alone then?

I'm curious if you see income tax as part of this equation.

We know the the legislature slashed the income tax brackets primarily for the the high wage earners here a couple of years ago and put the state on this sort of path where in a couple of years the state will be out of money, looking at still needing to spend more money for K twelve public schools, um, a lot of other bills coming due.

Uh do you have to revisit other tax policies?

Is it politically viable though to say we're gonna go back and and raise the tax rate to where it was for the wealthiest Kansas?

Think you've touched on this already, but um I are you committed to staying the course on the the current funding for K twel public schools with the annual inflation adjustment?

That's something that is not currently fully funded.

Just a a couple more issues here.

Um for reproductive rights and abortion access.

Should women have the right to terminate a pregnancy in Kansas?

Well, we saw two years ago Republicans ran on this same message.

The people have already spoken and then they came back and continued to restrict access to to abortion care.
