And I think the message around this amendment is just much more muddled.
And I I think a lot of people don't understand what it is or maybe don't even know that it's on the ballot and something that they could go out and vote for.
Um, I'm also always curious in like what kind of funny business might be happening at the polls.
Um, we keep an eye on that.
You know, we're already tracking this report out of Wyandotte County where they they sent out mail ballots that had an invalid return address.
It was a defunct post office box.
So a lot of people are getting their ballots back in the mail and they don't know what to do with it.
So, you know, curious if any of that has an impact.
We wrote it previously about Johnson County getting rid of some polling places for advanced voting.
Um, you know, if we end up with one of these very
tight margins, uh whether it's you know governor's race, senate race, the the constitutional amendment, whatever, um, all of that could be a factor in whether there's uh lawsuits or recounts.
Uh I'm I'm haunted by election night primary in 2018 when uh Chris Kobach and Jeff Koyer were running for governor and were separated on election night by fewer than 150 votes.

the margin expanded a little bit after as they started to, you know, get more ballots in after.
Yeah.
But um
You know, there's no guarantee that we know Tuesday night who has won all of these races.
Overland Park Mayor Kurt Schog turned heads when he walked into the election office about three hours before the filing deadline on june first and entered the governor's race.
He's now one of three candidates seeking the Democratic Party nomination for governor.
