So we have a special series rolling out that uh our staff has been working on um for several months now, actually.

Uh it's everything from uh using a rule called calling the question to end debate to complaining that somebody's impugning their motives to make them stop talking, um, you know, just disregarding the work that others in the State House are doing, and we can get into more s of this later in the the episode.

Yeah, you know, we'll we'll get into uh what she vetoed and and how all that uh turned out.

But, you know, I think it's worth noting that she did sign a lot of the bills that the legislature had passed prior to coming back.

Uh and, you know, some of those were things that had gotten, you know, a little heated at times.

She signed regulations for pharmacy benefit managers, kind of the middlemen who uh, you know, critics say are driving up the cost of prescription drugs.

This is trying to rein that in a little bit.

She signed a bill that basically evicts everybody who's currently on the state nursing board and voids all of the administrative violations that nurses have had for the past 20 plus years.

And of course, very exciting for our Kansas City audience who are Chiefs fans.

They passed the Sports Authority, that's one of the linchpins that makes the deal go.

Go forward with the Kansas City Chiefs coming across state lines, building a stadium, building a headquarters in another complex.

You know, the Sports Authority will basically own the stadium and govern all of this.

And there's some, I think, hardburn about who is going to get a voting voice on that.
