Oh, we can go either way.
I think uh look, uh it's really interesting at this time of year in a major league season, right?
When you're in this kind of a playoff race and just how much the leverage swings from day to day and you know, people were s flying so high during the Kansas City series because Jay's had moved into a playoff spot and were looking great and all of a sudden, you know, you have one bad series and and the sky's falling and
And that is September baseball.
Uh, it's never as good as it seems until you've clinched, and it's never as bleak as it seems until you're out.
So uh it's all part of the wild ride.
Well, I think there's a few things at play there.
First, it starts with the American League not running away from them, right?
The only reason the Blue Gees are in this spot is because the American League is so across the board, remarkably average.
And that has allowed them to stay in the race through some of their uh periods of struggle throughout the course of the year.
And so there's that.
Like e every team that they're competing against.
Is a different version of them, right?
With some pluses and some flaws that keep them from taking off and separating from the pack.
So there's that piece to it.
Two, the reason that the Blue Jays haven't been able to get on in a very extended run.
And obviously they did one, uh, they got they they needed that to get to this point, but they haven't been able to win more than four games in a row is because
because they have some inconsistencies in their offense and they have some gaps in their rotation.
And these things catch up over time and prevent you from winning on
an extended basis.
