And I I think that he they're they're kind of watching his workload.
They're not gonna put him at any sort of risk.
He's got a pretty good sense of what he needs for himself.
And all of this is gonna create some interesting discussions in terms of what's the best usage for him moving forward once they get to the offseason.
Yeah, it's a really interesting question, right?
And I've talked to him a little bit about what is the balance between, okay, just maintain what you've got now, which is like, you know, five, six innings-ish uh per outing, versus trying to push and build a little bit further and maybe getting that pitch count into the one ten range or something along those lines.
And
From his vantage point, the thing he keeps saying is that as long as my body's good, I'm the arm is in a good spot, I can maintain this and I can keep building up on this too.
So adding in terms of adding volume, because that's really the piece that he's missed.
And
But he's also cognizant of what his body is capable of.
And so that there is a tightrope to be walked walked there.
I think if the if he's if the blues are getting five out of him per start right now, uh they're they'd probably be like they'd sign up for that for the rest of the year moving forward if they can do that consistently with him.
Uh and knowing that there is maybe a little upside for uh for him to push a little bit more as well, the the thing you have to
Can keep in mind is like take a step back.
See the Blue Cheese have to be careful with him, not just obviously for himself, but just from a wider uh rotation picture.
Because right now that they're running four starters.
Sounds like Erighetti may get into the rotation uh the next turn through or the next time through.
So so maybe they're going back to five after this, even though he only got up to 50 pitches at AAA Buffalo last time out, and maybe that's
That helps space out things a bit for the rotation and balance things out in the bullpen without having to have a bullpen game like they like they did on the weekend.
