the the base, the the toolkits to do that.

And it's just a matter of e extracting it and and utilizing it in the right ways.

Oh, that's been on their minds from the spring training.

That this has been uh

Th really, there are no case studies for what's happened with Spencer Miles, right?

It was just 10 pro appearances before this year, over three years.

He was essentially had his entire pro career wiped out because of injuries.

And you have to go back to college when uh he's logged any volume of innings whatsoever.

And so as this season has progressed and he's gone from

you know back uh back end mop-up guy to uh s uh bulk arm to spot starter to to periodic starter now into leverage relief uh

how he manages his workload, the toll on his arm, the toll on his body, all those things have been front of mind throughout the process.

And uh in talking to him after he got his uh first career save last week, you know, one of the things that he was saying is that

He has body had gotten conditioned to handle the rigors of starting.

And now he's being used in leverage roles where he ends up throwing back-to-back games and is gotta be up a little bit more regularly for these shorter bursts.

He's teaching his body how to adjust to that now as well.

So uh the workload this is something that Jays have been very conscious of.

Uh, this is an asset that

You know, you think uh coming into camp, oh, they've got two Rule Five guys, this is a team coming off the World Series, how are they gonna carry one of these guys?

He turned out to be a vital piece and is a big reason why they are where they are right now from a pitching perspective.
