And again, you think you could maybe do that with the Chad Dallas, you can maybe do that with a lot of people.

Estrata, but you're also hamstringing your roster construction because you can't move off those guys without passing them through waivers, which they already did once with the strata.

Like sometimes you feel better with a guy like that than someone who may be more less of a known commodity.

And I think it would be a lot simpler if the if there wasn't that downward trajectory to cease's velocity and was you know, it'd been down for a bit, got up against Cleveland, and dropped again uh last time out.

And I think

you know, without knowing all the information in terms of what he's reporting to the the Blue Jays, what he's feeling, what they are tying the diminished velocity to, I think you that's gotta be the primary thing.

Like would you would you would you rather take say a diminished cease against Baltimore or would you rather take a better rested one uh lined up differently for the rest of the games?

And so

So that that's a big part of the equation.

And another part of the equation was how efficient both Cease and Soriano are in their starts.

And Cece less efficient than Soriano last time out.

And you could also get creative.

Do you maybe flip Soriano and Cece in the rotation in terms of you give Cease the extra day, but maybe not for Soriano and keep him?

Turn and that way you get at least Soriano in that series against the Orioles.

I just think there are a number of different factors.

And without knowing the specifics of what's leading to this uh to this reduction in Cease's velocity, uh aside from you know the the logical we're in September and this guy's logged a lot of innings, uh that's that's a major question mark.

And I think that's gonna draw.
