My guess, what they typically what the Blue Jays typically do is that they stretch, they'll stretch them out in spring training, see what happens with the rest of the rotation, the pitching picture, and then make a decision on what to do with them moving forward from there.
But
For me, I think there's it's just too intriguing to see what he can be as a starter.
if there is a belief that physically he can hold up and sustain his way through that.
Okay.
Of anticipation in terms of
who moves faster and that who jumps uh
Who moves quick with uh moves in the offseason?
Do certain does a certain class of players sign before the lockout, uh, etc.?
Or is there, you know, and then is there a secondary group that all gets done once a lockout is settled?
Uh and I think that so there's that part of it.
And I think the the Blue Cheese are certainly formulating a plan uh in that regard.
And then there's kind of communicating with your own internal players.
Which, you know, the Blue Jays will essentially have two uh two months to do, uh, given that they're not gonna make the playoffs in all likelihood.
So uh that uh they'll be able to kind of give guys pitching plans, give guys throwing plans, developing them, work with them up until December one arrives, uh, and kind of lock in some things, and then players will be able to take that information and move forward for the duration of
the lockout, however long that's going to be.
A lot there.
Yeah, so I mean, in terms of getting the most out of him, it first thing starts with, you know, just getting that command back and getting him back into the strike zone on a more consistent basis.
And that's something that they knew when they were getting him.
Like, okay, he's having a terrible year.
