What what does all this mean?
He was also going through the the foot thing, and uh, so he had some.
So he was just sort of a
Uh an asset, an uncertain asset in that way when they got him.
But look, it's starter potential.
Uh the he could be really interesting if you shorten him up.
Uh and and what does that maybe look like out of the bullpen as uh a potential multi-inning guy, uh and maybe a swing guy?
Uh, and perhaps the stuff plays up in that role as well.
Uh, or is he just like uh an
an up and down arm if he doesn't find his way into the rotation.
So uh it was basically I think they look at him as uh just a a good pitcher to have like a
big league ish caliber pitcher that has the upside and has shown the ability to succeed in the big leagues, uh, but has to get back to that form.
And so I you know, they were hoping that it might happen fast enough this year where he could help the Blue Jays in their in their chase for the postseason.
Didn't quite get there in time or in the way that they needed to, uh, but he's just a a the
you know, that caliber of pitcher that's in the mix, uh, and the Blue Jays need have needed those arms.
He you know, if he's a depth arm, then that's great.
And if he's more than that, that's even better.
