He can have these PR crises.
He can, you know, Francis Haugen can go in front of Congress and say that his company has willfully ignored internal evidence that it harms children, right?
And he can weather it and you can continue to succeed and at least here in the United States, I know, European regulators are you know far, far.
Better at regulating social media, but here in the United States Congress has not been effective at regulating this company and they've not passed a single law that, for instance, punishes the company for harm to minors and that's something that.
At least here in America, people across political lines agree on.
And so as a company executive, the lesson he's kind of learned is like, I can make these mistakes and still succeed.
So I had the same question.
And when I spoke to people closer to Mark in the last few years, what they said was that this was Mark just finally being comfortable being himself in public.
The gold chains, the outward kind of, you know, talk about his martial arts.
I would say that that at least my my view on that is that it's part of MMA fighting, that there's kind of a certain look that some of those fighters take on.
And whether it's shirts that show off your physique or gold chains or even, you know, shifting hairstyle, it's a little bit cooler, for lack of a better word.

And they had someone in office.
a regulator in office who was quite serious for a while about trying to crack down on facebook and so i don't think it was a time where he was comfortable necessarily being fully himself in public but i don't think this was as much a shift to appeal to trump's people as it was him being like no this is this is who i am i am actually a fan of
Whether it's, you know, the podcasts or the, you know, the fights, the MMA fights that he's shown up ringside on.
And I just actually the other week spoke to somebody who saw him recently socially.
And he said that Mark's really happy that he likes being this version of himself in public.
I think it appeals to who he is as a person, because it's a type of fighting that takes a lot of strategy, as much as skill.
