Right, and that's basically maximizing the efficiency out of chips and not just NVIDIA chips, but other types of chips like TPU's and Amazon's training chips.
And so that is important um in a time when obviously uh anthropic and the AI vendors are in a crunch trying to be able to keep up with demand and offer all the compute they can get.
Anthropic has been uh quite disciplined uh both in their early kind of compute efforts.
You had Anthropic CEO Dario Amade saying he didn't want to sort of YOLO and go too far um with overextending on compute.
They've similarly been more disciplined than some of their competitors on their MA strategy so far and haven't made as many splashy big deals.
If you think to open AI, uh buying Johnny Ive startup or other major head
headlines, anthropics have been a little more under the radar.
So this would mark, as we reported, their biggest acquisition yet and may represent a shift where as Ryan was setting saying ahead of a potential blockbuster IPO, they are starting to make some of these bigger transactions in areas where they may need help.
Sure.
So Anthropic said they're going to start letting users access Fable 5 model as soon as today.
So that should be starting now.
And that's a big win for them because this is really their latest and greatest, right, in terms of how powerful it is.
Now, people may have heard a lot more about Mythos because that made quite a splash when it was released because of how strong it was and its cyber abilities.
Fable is a very similar model, just sort of with additional safeguards so that the average user cannot
In theory, hopefully go and, let's say, hack someone's phone or get into their bank account.
And so being for Anthropic, being able to serve Fable, not just to a select group of trusted partners as they can with Mythos, but to the broader public is very crucial to keeping their business kind of going.
So while the discussions were obviously private, Anthropic has said that they have worked with government on some stronger safeguards.
So those are things like blocking requests if there is someone who's really trying to sort of jailbreak the system and get around the ability to get a malicious kind of answer to help them hack something.
Now Anthropic has said they've worked harder to...
hopefully bulletproof their models from that.
