I just got to find it real quick.
But there was a text about how tomorrow's game is a must win because after the day off, you're facing one of the, if not the best team in Major League Baseball in Atlanta, in the Braves, in Atlanta itself, in Georgia.
And
I get it.
Like I get that sentiment.
I don't, well, I don't think tomorrow is a must win game.
I, there was a text here that I thought was really interesting.
It was from Vernon in Toronto.
You know, I have no idea why John Schneider keeps sprinkling Hoffman back into ninth inning situations, knowing there's another bullpen day tomorrow, the manager needed to ensure they secured the series win today.
Now there's a chance to series ends up a draw.
And I mean, we've talked about this before, right?
Like the fact that you kind of empty the tank to ensure that you lock down a win and then, you know,
kind of see what happens on a bull, another bullpen day tomorrow.
And you know, you're all, you're already kind of lucky to win a bullpen game in which your bulk guy gave up five runs the day before.
So it's, you know, maybe you're just seeing both sides of extreme luck here to a certain extent, but boy, it's, that is a tough pill to swallow because you don't want this to kind of snowball when you just got back to 500, I would say.
Let's go back to the text line here.
Let's see.
This one's from Bobby in Winnipeg.
I don't think we can afford to get rid of Hoffman, but I don't think we can afford to put him into an inning where there isn't another inning after the one he is in.
If things go sideways, the boys need a chance to come back.
