Yes, he's a lot older, he's like 20 years older than my mum.

So my dad's in his 80s, my mum's in her 60s.

But yeah, because of that actually, and my dad had the lesser paid job.

So he actually was the stay-at-home dad and my mum went back to work.

So it is interesting, I have a lot of influence from my dad, who was, I suppose in some ways, quite a wiser, older person who had...

Life experience.

And I'd had crazy times, but had the patience now to be a dad because he'd sort of done a lot of the mad stuff.

And he was still drumming even when I was a kid, but he wasn't doing it to the extent he used to.

So, yeah, I felt like he had a lot of time for us and invested a lot of time in letting us try things.

And this is something that I've learned since being a parent.

And you see the difference in how people react to stuff.

I was just never felt...

But do you know what it was?

It was this such disconnect being from a tiny village.

And I grew up watching things like Live and Kicking or...

and it was all live, fun, exciting television.

Or you'd watch kids' TV and the whole audience would be a load of school kids.

And I used to, I'd look at it and go, well, how have they got there?

And I couldn't compute.

I was so removed from that.
