I don't even know what you needed.
You probably needed an accountant and a lawyer and you had to go into like set up shop and there were all these like physical barriers in the way.
You had to be able to drive like all these things that we take for granted as access.
Not everyone had that.
Even getting a line of credit wasn't possible like until the 70s for women.
So we are now in a place where to start a business, you don't need a lot of capital because the ability to start a business is a lot cheaper.
Like you can set up a Shopify website for $30 a month and get a domain name for like, I don't know, probably the same $30 a year.
And like for less than a hundred dollars, you now have a website and a domain name.
that's pretty good.
And that's what you need to get started.
And if you're a sole trader, uh, some countries call them sole proprietors, some call them sole traders.
Basically you just work for yourself.
You don't even in some countries have to register as a business.
Yeah.
As an individual company, you can just start off on your own.
And then when you start making money and you're like, okay, this has some legs, you can sign up and make a business like register as a company.
And in a lot of countries, especially in OECD countries, it is very, very seamless.
Australia and New Zealand are a lot easier than like America, but the UK is not too difficult either.
You can start a company and get going within a couple of days.
And that is just not what it used to be like.
