Yes, the words kill the boer, kill the farmer are outrageous and offensive.
Having said that, there was no evidence that Malema or his party were actually trying to put that into any action.
They found it was just politics, ugly politics, vicious politics, nasty politics, but the kind of politics that I think your president is all too familiar with.
Where do you think he's getting these ideas from?
So there's been a fair amount of research on this by South African academics in particular.
I'd point you towards the work of Nechama Brody or Nikki Falcoff, who've written a lot about, you know, white supremacist groups in the States needing evidence of some kind of persecution of white people.
And in the absence of that evidence, because frankly,
It's pretty great to be a white person in most of the world if you look at statistics and facts.
So they're having to invent this idea of white persecution in order to maintain that victimhood complex.
And South Africa is a place where white people are killed in violent circumstances, as are many citizens of this country.
way more Black people are killed violently than white people in South Africa because crime affects pretty much everybody.
It is not racially motivated.
Absolutely.
I mean, it doesn't even enter into the conversation of what constitutes a genocide.
And of course, to be even having this conversation
while we are watching what is happening in Gaza, while very few people are watching what is happening in Sudan, where far more people are being killed in terrible circumstances.
When we're not talking about what's happening in Gaza, when we're not talking about what is happening in Sudan.
These are places where the threat of genocide is very, very real.
And yet we're focusing on a few disgruntled white farmers in South Africa.
It is absolute madness and bears no relation to reality.
