It was kind of back in the pandemic that he first started his association with City, taking the under twenty ones job.
Um, I remember him kind of like wowing Academy staff 'cause he he couldn't initially travel over.
Um, 'cause the restrictions um while everything was being sorted out.
But he was like on Zoom coming up with all these tactical game plans for EFL trophy games and things like that.
Um, that was seen as kind of certainly at a level that uh the Academy staff had not seen.

And then yeah, he they they won the league with kind of double digits.
Uh must have been like average three goals a game.
They were so entertaining to watch and he had a lot of good players, uh Liam Delap, uh James McAtee.

James Trafford, uh, of course, and people like that.
It it was a really strong team, but what was significant was that they all improved under Moreska.

And yeah, and then he went away after a season, didn't go so well uh in second division in Italy as a manager, he only lasted a few months, but he then returned the following year as um Guardiola's assistant.

for the year when they won the treble and his impact on on Guardiola, his impact on sporting director Chicky Big Earson at the time, his impact on the players was enormous, phenomenal.
