very often that's the case because you you collectively need that sort of um release you need that you need that space where you can you can use the where the work has all the uh the focus and the attention of the um the darkness and the intensity um and all of the the expression of vile human behavior and then when you step out of it
you just you know you need very often you need some way of being able to put the weights down for five minutes and so you can feel lighter for a while before you go back to it in ten minutes time or tomorrow or whatever because you know you've got to be careful if you carry all that around with you for too long
You know, that can have a very, very high price tag.
So you've got to be careful about doing that.
There's a wonderful turn of phrase, which I hope I'll be able to remember for the rest of my working days.
Take the work really seriously.
But don't take yourself seriously.
Because the work deserves the attention.
It deserves to be taken really seriously.
