One is that um it vastly accelerates our ability to do this research.

There's an awful lot that's published uh every week in this area and it's very difficult for any one individual researcher to keep up with it all.

But AI keeps up with it and we can interrogate our AI f around different questions that we might have that we need answers without needing to go necessarily

necessarily and read fifty research papers to get to the bottom of that.

The other way is that AI is built on machine learning.

And so this is a uh you know a technique of of creating algorithms that, you know, either sort language or sound or create images or whatever.

And we're borrowing from that base technology to create these hearing aids.

I think our work is incredibly important, but that's not the main story.

I think the main story is that we need to recognize the impact that hearing loss has on individuals and on society at large.
