But there were certain things which spied during COVID that then stayed high afterwards, one of which was vinyl LPs, which I love vinyl LPs, so I'm interested in that.
And you could see, basically, it obviously changed us in lots of ways.
And I talk about COVID during the grief chapter, too.
It changes in ways you might expect to, as people knew people that suffered or died, even.
I mean, I've always thought that actually my team's job is not to explain why something's happening.
Actually, I've always thought that our job is to explain.
Can you?
I think some of it is just like, it's stuff that makes sense.
Some of it is just things that are happening because they're trends.
So with vinyl, some of these, you can see how they become circular, that more people buy them, and then people see they have friends who have records, so they'll buy them.
And then sometimes it's because, like,
There is food.
I think there was the French, there was an Olympic muffin recipe that spiked during the Olympics because somebody had done an article and they talked about how they made chocolate muffins and then that spiked.
So sometimes you can see those obvious direct connections.
Some of them are these bigger long-term things.
Like for instance, searches for take care of kids have dropped below searches for take care of parents.
And you can see that.
And we know there's a sandwich generation out there.
I'm part of it, where people are looking after both their kids and their parents now.
So seeing that obviously big social change reflected in the data is really interesting.
