I mean, so for me, like the book that I wrote isn't actually a book about tech at all, really.

It's a book about who we are through the way that we search because the way that we search has changed dramatically since 20 years ago.

Even the way we use phrases like near me, the way we kind of like cater our searches towards the tools, for sure.

So I can't tell you kind of what's going to happen in that world in the long run because it's not my area of expertise.

But I do think like...

What I wanted to do, in a way, was get to a place of understanding who we are as people through this data and understanding what it says about us as a kind of society and how connected we are or not.

So that's where I see, for me, I'd love to see that being developed more so people have a greater idea, a greater sense of almost like self-worth but self-knowledge through the data that we can put out there.

For sure.

And this isn't really a book about Google.

It's a book that happens to use that data, but it's much more about us, I guess.

And I think as humans, I'm not the expert on why people might feel negative about the world around us.

I've certainly felt that in the past.

I think that it's a really good question because it is...

I didn't go into writing the book deciding to make it like this, to make it optimistic.

That was just what came through in the data.

And I think perhaps the fact that we don't necessarily believe that about ourselves is a bigger question about who we are as humans.

That, you know, despite what's going on in the world and all of the things that are happening, we do want to help each other.

We are connected in ways that we don't perhaps understand.

So for me...

I'm always interested in the stories more than the technology on this, more than the data itself.
