Just I thought it was interesting.

It can tell you a lot about people as a whole.

And I found this trend for how to say thank you for an unexpected gift, which is such a kind of weirdly specific thing.

I started looking at that.

And the thing about trends data is it's not like a static data set.

So it's not like if you and I were discussing unemployment data or GDP data,

It might be revised, but pretty much it's a measurement of some numbers.

With Google Trends, it just changes and shifts all the time because it's a sample of Google searches.

And so this was a bit of a ghost in the machine in that way.

So I went down this whole rabbit hole of looking at this data set, which seemed to be that it spiked in Niger.

in Africa, which is interesting because Niger is a French-speaking country, firstly.

And why would that be the case?

And would it be, it's a country that's had its own challenges.

So would it be like aid workers or people from English speakers who are searching for this?

So I was looking for some advice on this.

So I contacted the Nigerian embassy and they didn't respond, of course.

Why would they?

And I contacted the Niger consulate of the U.S.

in Niger.

No response.
