It's kinda joined up.

I mean, the the Japan is the largest owner of US treasuries.

So I think the worry is that they are forced to start selling these treasuries to to essentially to support their currency.

Yeah.

And and, you know, Scott Betson and the Treasury don't want that.

So I think that was part of the thinking behind this.

But in that sense, it i i they're actually probably pushing an open door in that one.

They've probably got more chance of success with that than the buybacks because you're at the stage now where the Japanese basically have all these they've got like five trillion dollars

the assets that they own uh abroad.

So it's it's massive.

I don't think any other country owns as many foreign assets.

And a lot of it's unhedged, which basically means that if the yen sort of goes up a lot, uh they they lose a lot of money.
